$5 to race --- 7:00PM Registration --- 7:30PM Race Begins --- 1.5 hour time limit

checkpoints will be posted Friday morning --- this race will not end at the starting point

Come with lights/helmet/whatever else.

No bags, locks, writing utensils necessary. All you need is a place to keep some stuff that you will pick up along the way. (poker cards, duh...)

There are two options for this one:

"A" route: approximately 18 miles with 6 stops (including the end point)

"B" route: approximately 9 miles with 3 stops (including the end point)

B route will not go to Airline Hwy or Jefferson Hwy

the A route will be for the pot, B route will not

Howdy folks!

February race: Know Your Downtown

This is the third February for b.r.alleycats. This marks the beginning of our third year with alley cat races happening every month.
Way to go, BR.

We will start registration at 7:00PM and race at 7:30PM. One hour time limit. Scavenger Hunt downtown Baton Rouge style. After the race we will migrate to Chelsea's to tabulate the results and have some liquid refreshment.

January Race Details

Check it!

Race starts and ends at Chelsea's Cafe. Registration at 6:30pm. Race starts promptly at 7:00pm and ends at 9:00pm.

$5 to race. Front and rear lights are required, helmets are strongly encouraged. You will need either a cell phone or digital camera with a view screen. Proof of each location will be required. You have 2 hours to hit as many checkpoints as you wish.

You can make this race as easy or as difficult as you want. There are short, mid and long range checkpoints, with values higher for the furthest locations.

January Race

The January Race will be moved to January 21st in order to have more people in town. I've heard from a lot of folks that the 14 is a bad time.

Race To Hell Results

December was a hellish 30 miles for the A route riders. For Route B riders it was a manageable 11 or so.

2) Natatorium Field

3) I-10 and River Road

4) Webb Park

5) Hobby Lobby on College

A route stop order: 1, 3, 5, 2, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

B route stop order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Race to Hell

NOTE: Time is different than usual


7:30 register, 8:00 race $5
Meet at Baton Rouge Beach (Stanford near W. Lakeshore)


We're all going to hell. This race will determine who is driving the bus that takes us there! (we want someone fast, duh!)


This will be a straight up race. No gimmicks, no tricks. Just point A to B to C to however many there are. Ride fast. Be safe. Good Luck. See you in Hell.

The short version of this race will be 13 max, if you play your cards right

Helmets not required, but you should fucking wear one
